Youth Cabinet
The Northumberland
Youth Cabinet is an elected body of 13-19 year olds who represent
the views of young people from across Northumberland within the
Council. The Youth Cabinet also develop projects based on the
issues that they campaigned for in their manifesto during the
election. This currently includes topics such as young people and
democracy.

Open Sessions - Gathering Young People’s views, in person,
at an event or youth club in Northumberland.
Environmental
Conservation Projects - Environmental Conservation
Projects include park development, wildlife, greenery, global
warming and litter free areas.
Award Recognition
Scheme - Recognising work/projects led and carried out by
young people in Northumberland.
Social Action
- Social Action includes local heritage conservation,
publicity and working with other groups.
