Northumberland Adult Learning Service offers extra services to support you during your course. They include a dedicated adult learning team in each of our centres, offering

• Help with course enquiries and enrolments

• Information on fees and financial help

• Information on childcare, travel and other help and support

• Advice on learning and work

• Referral to a specialist who can give you more detailed guidance

• Signposting and referral to other learning providers if we don’t offer what you are looking for

If at any time you would like details about the content of a course and its suitability for you, we will endeavour to answer your queries or put you in touch with the course tutor.

We can also provide information and advice sessions to adults 16+ on learning and work. By booking an appointment with one of our professional advisors we can offer you a confidential session that provides you with an opportunity to discuss your training, learning and work needs as well as helping you to plan your future. We can help you with job search skills, developing your CV or skills to complete job application forms, identifying your training needs and possible career choices and to help you find suitable learning opportunities.
