Anti-Poverty Commission
This page explains the purpose of the Anti-Poverty Commission
Anti-Poverty Commission
The Anti-Poverty Commission was a time limited group set up to
look at ways that public and voluntary sector partners can work
more effectively to reduce the impact of poverty in the
county. The group was Chaired by the Venerable Peter Robinson
and included members from the public and voluntary sectors.
It held a number of themed meetings and reported back its
findings to the NSP Leadership Forum in December 2012. The
NSP Leadership Forum has accepted the recommendations of the
report and will hold a further meeting in early February
2013 to decide how best to take this forward.
