By foot - there are some beautiful local walks around the town including Hexham Riverside Walk. The Hadrian’s Wall Trail offers some breath taking scenery, ask staff about walking the various sections along the wall.

Hexham is a busy tourist destination with attractions such as Hexham Abbey and The Old Gaol in the town.
There are various Roman sites along Hadrian’s Wall including the ever popular Vindolanda and Roman Army Museum and Housesteads amongst others. Ask staff for more details about these.
