The Film Collection Library holds over 3000 biographies, studies and genres. The perfect free resource for students or for people who are passionate about films and want to learn more, this collection is available to all library members for free.
The Film Collection is housed at Morpeth Library but can be
reserved for free for pick up from any
Northumberland library.
The books are available to borrow for free as part of
the library's normal stock. You can reserve any of the books to be
sent for free to your local library through the online catalogue or
by telephone.

From its beginnings as a humble
backstreet project, cinema has transformed into a giant billion
dollar industry. Chart its progress with books from our Film
Collection Library, from Charlie Chaplin to James Bond.
The collection is comprised
of over 3,000 titles, covering all
aspects of cinema, including film star and director biographies,
cinematography, history of cinema and academic analysis.

Opening Hours
The Film Collection Library is kept inside Morpeth Library and
has the same opening hours: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday
9am to 7.30pm and Saturday 9.30am to 12.30pm.
