Alnwick Garden and Alnwick Castle

The Alnwick Garden and Alnwick Castle combined Tickets Prices

Alnwick Castle and Garden – 5% discount off ticket price which can be converted into an annual pass at Alnwick Castle & Garden on date of purchase.

Ticket Prices: Alnwick Garden & Castle - these tickets are valid for fast track entry. Tickets can be purchased from any of our Northumberland Tourist Information Centres.

Alnwick Castle and Garden Opening times


Alnwick Castle is open from 29th March to 30th October 2013.

10am - 6pm, the State Rooms 11am - 5pm with last admissions 4.15pm.

Please note that the staterooms will close on 28th October.

The Alnwick Garden is open every day for the summer season from 10am to 6pm. In the winter season it is open Monday - Saturday 11am - 3pm and 11am to 5pm on Sunday.

Please be aware only assistance dogs are allowed in The Alnwick Garden and grounds.

Please note that alnwick Castle will be closed from 18th - 25th June inclusive for a private event.

5% off Alnwick Castle only tickets

Tickets will be sold by the TIC office and redeemed by your guests on arrival in admissions on the day. The Castle only tickets can be still validated for a year worth of entry – during opening times. The Castle opens on Friday 29th March and our opening times are grounds 10am to 6pm and Staterooms 11am to 5pm.

We will remain open this season until the 30 October. We do however have one week of closure in the summer.
Lady Melissa, the daughter of the Duke and Duchess of Northumberland is getting married at Alnwick on 22 June.
As the Castle is their family home we will be closed from the 19 25th June to let the family have some private time during this very special occasion.


Bamburgh Castle

Bamburgh Castle Tickets 10% discount on entry

Spanning nine acres of land above its rocky plateau high above the coastline, Bamburgh is one of the largest inhabited castles in the country and makes for a fantastic day out. Click here to view a complete list of our TIC's.

5 % Discount on all ordnance survey maps until 31 April at the Tourist Information Centres.


Paxton House

Paxton House Tickets 10% discount on entry

Built between 1758 and 1763 by architect John Adam and his brother James for the young Patrick Home, beautiful Paxton House is said to be one of the finest examples of neo-Palladian architecture in the whole of Scotland, just over the border of Northumberland. Chillingham Castle

Chillingham Castle 10% discount on entry

Castle open from Good Friday 29th March 2013 until 1st November 2013. closed every Saturday except Easter Saturday.

Opening times:  12.00pm to 5pm. Last entry 4.30pm


Heatherslaw Mill

Heatherslaw Mill & Lady Waterford Hall Joint ticket 10% discount

Situated a mile apart these two attractions give magnificent insight into historical life in the Ford and Etal estates. Buy a joint ticket from one of our TIC’s and get 10% discount on admission. Open from 24 March to 3 November.
